Harvested in Sologne, France
A honeycomb straight from the hive and immersed in acacia honey. Eat with a spoon, on a slice of bread or to accompany a desert.
- HONEY COMB
This is honey in its raw state. Coating an original wax comb, this honey is truly exceptional and authentic in both looks and taste. With this product, one gets to admire the fascinating work of bees who created hexagonal prismatic wax cells to store the pollen and honey in order to form a honeycomb. In this case, the beekeeper only intervenes to take the bee hive out of its home in order to remove a small piece of the honey comb. The rest of the comb will be left to the bees who will use it to feed during the winter.
In this state, one can directly chew on a piece of the comb to benefit all the virture and properties of honey. One could also spread small pieces of the comb on bread or even uses slices of it to accompany cheese. Exceptional pastry chefs often use honey combs to accompany their desserts as they have both a great taste and help create a spectacular aesthetic.
